The attraction, which has been closed since March 17 due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be welcoming the public back through a pre-booked system and reduced visitor numbers in order to keep visitors and staff safe. The Museum will have new opening hours with limited dates and times and continue to be free to enter.

To keep all visitors and staff safe several new measures have been introduced which include:

• Social distancing in place within the Museum

• Cleaning in between group visits

• Face coverings must be worn whilst visiting the Museum

Charlotte Burford, Museum curator, said: “To celebrate reopening, the Museum has extended the wonderful typography exhibition, which was originally due to close in June and will now continue to be available so that more people can now enjoy the nostalgic displays. The unique exhibition explores the history of Littlehampton through the posters, prints, signs, tickets and so much more is not to be missed.

“Even though the Museum shares its entrance with the Town Council reception, this will not be open to the public just yet. The Town Council continues to be available via phone or email.”
