Chailey School closed due to burst water main

East Sussex County Council confirmed the news on Twitter.

A spokesman for the school in Mill Lane, South Chailey, said contractors were on site trying to fix the problem.

She added: “We are still shut at the moment. We will be giving an update on the next steps later this morning.”
