A digger appears to have fallen off the back of a lorry on the A272, police said.
Chichester Police said officers were in Rogate with the ‘potentially stolen digger’.
A spokesman added: “[The digger] seems to have fallen off the back of lorry/trailer literallY! Ongoing enquiries to see where it’s from and how it came to rest in this location.”
