A record number of runners took part in the opening night of the 2017 Chichester Corporate Challenge.
Organisers were delighted to break the 900 barrier for the first time as the road-race event marked its 25th anniversary.
In total, 904 - made up of 495 juniors and 409 seniors - completed the course in the city centre.
The main A race was won for the first time by Worthing’s Jack Woods in a close finish that saw his two nearest rivals both finish within two seconds of him.
See our video report above - and see next week’s Observer (March 9) for a report, pictures and a full list of finishers.
