Pop from the ‘60s to now
Soundwaves, a community choir based in Hastings will be raising money for local charities with its forthcoming concert.
Soundwaves Goes Pop, directed by Rachel Myer will take place tonight (Friday, July 19) at St Leonards Parish Church, Marina, at 8pm.
Doors open at 7.45pm.
The songs are all familiar numbers from the 1960s to the present day. There will be additional songs from popular Hastings group Now & Then.
Admission is free but there will be a collection for the Sara Lee Trust and The Talking Trust. Both Soundwaves and Now & Then took part in last weekend’s ‘Our Big Gig’ event at The Stade.
