West End star sends good luck message to Eastbourne cast of Kinky Boots.

The cast of Kinky Boots, being performed by The Eastbourne Operatic and Dramatic Society at The Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne this week, has received a message of good luck from the actor who played the original Lola in the West End, Matt Henry.

Mr Henry sent a message relaying his best wishes to the cast, saying ‘I know the cast have worked really hard to tell this fantastic story…’ and describes the show as having ‘a big heart and a beautiful message’.

Finishing with an invitation to get tickets to this almost sold out show, Mr Henry’s message has left the cast in shock.

Josh Wildman, who plays Eastbourne’s Lola said: "This is a dream, right? Speechless!"

Kitson Wellard who plays Charlie said: "This is amazing, our show deserves to be shouted about!!’ and the director, Gareth Brighton reacted with ‘Mr Matt Henry says yeah!"

Tickets for the show are very nearly sold out for Friday and Saturday evening, but there are still some available for Wednesday evening and the Thursday and Saturday matinees.

Kinky Boots The Musical is on at Eastbourne’s Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne, from Wednesday 17th - Saturday 20th April.
