Power cut closes food store in Selsey for two hours

A food shop had to be closed for around two hours following a power cut this morning (Friday, May 15).

The outage affected the refrigeration of the food on site at Southern Co-op in High Street, Selsey.

A Southern Co-op spokesperson said: "We closed our store in Selsey's High Street for around two hours this morning due to a power cut.

"This caused an issue with our refrigeration on site which has since been fixed. We are expecting a delivery tomorrow to help replace any stock that was lost."
