A rail treat is in store for Littlehampton Museum’s mini-modellers

IT’S all aboard for half-term fun at Littlehampton Museum, where young visitors will be creating magical miniature trains.

The activities will be part of the museum’s celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the railway coming to Littlehampton, including a major exhibition and an event on Saturday, August 31, in the town centre.

Free places are on offer to budding railway engineers aged five to 13, who will make their models from a range of recycled and craft materials, with the best examples chosen to go on display in the museum’s exhibition “Littlehampton 150”, from July 13 to September 6.

The sessions are on May 28, from 10-11.30am, May 29, 2-3.30pm and May 30, 11am-12.30pm.
