Bexhill honours achievers in special awards night
MORE than 400 people have packed into the De La Warr Pavilion tonight, Tuesday, for the 2007 Bexhill Achievers Awards.
Hastings Direct and the DLWP were the main sponsors, and hosts were Observer Editor Peter Lindsey and Illian Granville from Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors.
A number of people won awards. They included overall achiever John Hollands, who has raised thousands for St Michaels Hospice.
Young Hayley Okines, who has progeria disease, and Lauren Gander, who has spina bifida, won special awards.
