Blaze in front garden damages Littlehamptom home

A FIRE broke out in the front garden of a Littlehampton home yesterday (Thursday, June 16).

Part of a leylandi hedge and building materials were well alight when Littlehampton fire crews arrived at the Gosden Road house, at about 6pm.

After dowsing the flames, they used a thermal imaging camera to find the remaining hot spots. About five per cent of the fascia of the house was damaged by fire, heat and smoke.
