The Bodiam Community Friends Annual General Meeting took place at the Castle Inn with the election of officers Virginia Gibert as the chairman, Heather Lewis as secretary, Tony Sanders as treasurer, committee member Janet Gardner, and Wendy Mills.

The landlord of the Castle Inn, James is to run in the London Marathon on April 13 for that very worthwhile charity, St Michael’s Hospice. I am sure you can still sponsor James.

What communications Amicus Horizon have! Was told by the housing officer for Levetts Lane that the next estate inspection for the lane was to be April 24 at 10am. But now in the magazine we are told July 28 at 10am. The communications team have just won an award. We all had the magazine on April 3. What a lot you are Amicus Horizon. Perhaps one day you will get it right.

The recycling units at Levetts Lane will now all take mixed glass bottles and glass jars, but not lids, mirrors, light bulbs, Pyrex/oven proof glassware, window panes and drinking glasses. Need more information, phone 01424 787000, Monday to Friday.
