Contact your parish council for information about the proposed changes to the supported bus network in Bodiam. This will not affect the weekday bus service, but could affect the summer Sunday and Bank Holiday Services. Phone 01580 830211/0345 60 80 194.

The next meeting of the parish council is on July 21, 7pm in the Parish Room. At the last parish council meeting, Cllr Graham made history. He did a report on St Giles Church. Cllr Graham is also churchwarden. This is the first time that members have had a report. The parish assembly is not a council meeting but at that Gordon the vicar will tell all the village what the church is up to. Gordon is always welcome to the parish council, just like everyone is.

Next service at St Giles is Holy Communion at 11.15am on July 20, vicar Gordon will take the service.

Sad news from our Bodiam Church of England Primary School. Two more members of staff are to leave, the very good teacher Gill Varney and the very good teaching assist and Janet Gardner. You cannot replace staff like Gill and Janet.
