EMERGENCY services are currently attempting to free a person believed to be trapped after a car and van crashed in Arundel.

The smash took place at about 2.15pm in London Road, outside Duchess Lodge, today (Wednesday, July 23).

Firefighters and paramedics are in attendance.

So far there is no further information about the status of the person understood to be trapped.
