CRIME FILE: Burglaries in Worthing

POLICE are investigating a number of burglaries at various homes in Worthing.

Police were called to a flat in Lennox Road, Worthing, on Wednesday, November 4, after reports a laptop and camera were stolen.

A home in Shelby Road, Durrington, was broken into on Friday, November 6, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm while the occupant was out at a fireworks display.

Burglars smashed the patio doors before stealing two laptops, a small safe, and other electrical items.

Homeowners in Cotswold Road, Worthing, woke up on Saturday, November 7, to find thieves had smashed a double glazed kitchen window before stealing a pay as you go TV and its cash-box containing 70.

A thief stole a green handbag and purse from a kitchen in Ladydell Road, East Worthing, between 9pm and 11.40pm on Saturday, November 7.

Hand tools were stolen from a garage overnight on Saturday, November 7, in Bruce Avenue, Worthing, between 8.30pm and 7.30am.

A Playstation console and three games were stolen on Monday, November 9, between 10am and 6.40pm, from a home in Stone Lane, Durrington.
