Burglars grab tools in raids on properties between Horsham and Crawley

Thieves made off with power tools after breaking into properties between Horsham and Crawley at the weekend.

Police say that tools and a bike were stolen when a shed and outbuilding in Crawley Road, Faygate, were broken into some time between 10pm on Saturday and 7.30am on Sunday.

In another incident in Faygate Lane, Faygate, a power tool was stolen after burglars broke padlocks off a shed the same night.

An attempted break-in was also made at a property in Kings Stone Avenue, Steyning, on May 13 and another attempt was made to break into a house in Ridgehurst Drive, Horsham, on May 14.
