Officers chase down thieves in Westhampnett
Police officers chased criminals across muddy fields before making a number of arrests over car break-ins.
“Following several reports of males trying to break into cars in Westhampnett, our night shift gave chase across muddy fields and caught them, recovering the stolen property.
“They are now sat in cells. Big thanks to those who called it in,” Chichester Police tweeted on Monday.
Police were unable to provide any further details.
