A spokesperson for the force said a house in Redwing Close, Horsham, was broken into between 10.10am and 12.40pm on Thursday.

Access to the home was gained via a rear window and foreign bank notes were taken from the home, the spokesperson added.

At around 3.15pm, two men entered a currency shop in West Street and attempted to exchange some foreign notes, the Sussex Police spokesperson said.
