Police have opened up investigations after a man was found dead in Crawley on Sunday afternoon (May 21).

Police officers were called to a report of a man found dead in the street in Tilgate Way, Crawley. A cause of death has yet to be determined as officers continue to investigate.

Police say they will be present in the area while officers investigate the circumstances.

A Police spokesperson said: “Around 11am on 21 May, police were called to a report of a man found in the street in Tilgate Way, Crawley.

“On arrival, officers discovered the man was deceased. The cause of his death remains under investigation.

“There will be a police presence in the area while officers investigate the circumstances.

“We would like to thank local residents for their patience and cooperation while the investigation takes place.”
