Three men attacked by group of four

Police are appealing for witnesses after three men were assaulted during the early hours of Sunday morning (May 14).

Police said officers were called at around 2.30am to Liverpool Road, Worthing, following reports that three men had been attacked by a group of four others.

A police spokesman said: “The four men then made off on foot along Liverpool Road.

“The victims, a 23-year-old man from Bognor and two Worthing men aged 22 and 26, were taken to Worthing hospital to be treated for injuries which included a swollen nose and a split lip which needed stitches.”
