UPDATE: Man remanded in custody following Arundel stabbing
A MAN charged with grievous bodily harm following a stabbing in Arundel on Wednesday (March 28) has been remanded in custody.
Andrew McCartney, 26, of Fitzalan Road, Arundel, was arrested by officers shortly after the incident, in Canada Road, in which a man received a stab wound to his arm.
He was charged yesterday afternoon (Thursday, March 29) with section 18 GBH and possession of a bladed article.
He appeared at Chichester Magistrates’ Court this morning where he was remanded.
His next court appearance is on June 11, at Chichester Crown Court, for a plea and case management hearing.
