Deadline looms for Bognor 10k race entries

Less than two weeks remain for entries into this year's Bognor Prom 10k road race.

The closing date for runners to register for the popular event backed by the Bognor Regis Observer and Peter Cooper Volkswagen is May 6.

Some 1,200 people from their teens to their eighties have put themselves forward to be on the West Park starting line at 10.30am on May 18.

But plenty of room is left for those who want to join them for the 14th of the annual runs along the promenade to Felpham and back.

Peter Elliott, of the organisers at Bognor Hotham Rotary Club, urged those still to make up their minds to do so soon.

No entries will be permitted on the race day.

Entry forms are available from the Observer office at 14 Station Road, Bognor Regis, as well as sports shops and leisure centres around the town.
