Empty Littlehampton building set alight

ARSONISTS set fire to a derelict Littlehampton building, in the early hours of yesterday morning (April 13).

Fire crews were called to the single-storey building, in the car park on the corner of Fitzalan Road and Church Road, at around 3am

It took almost an hour to extinguish the flames, using breathing apparatus and hose reels, as well as thermal imaging cameras.

A fire investigation officer confirmed the blaze was deliberate.
