A shining bar of silver is resting in the freezer. A Tweed salmon.
Not the first John caught- you have to put the first back- but just reward for three days' fishing, enjoying himself with his friends ( his version). The reward should however have included a present for his wife for looking after everything whilst he was away (my version).
