Estate Agents search for Apprentices

GONE are the days when Apprentices made the tea. Thanks to Sir Alan Sugar, a new generation has arrived and Andrews is on the search for a batch of its very own Apprentices who want to become Estate Agents.

With opportunities across the South East, Andrews want to discover raw business talent with its new Apprenticeship scheme.

Candidates of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to apply, from school leavers to people who have decided not to go on to university.

The scheme would also be attractive to people who are looking for a completely new career with fantastic training and support. With a salary of 14,000-16,000 plus the chance to earn up to 4,000 in bonuses, the Andrews Apprenticeship scheme offers successful candidates a great opportunity to have the first step on the Property career ladder.

Michael Robson, Chief Executive of Andrews commented:

"This is the first time we have held open days for Andrews Apprentices. Successful candidates will be based in local branches to them and will begin a bespoke 12 month training scheme in October. The programme will take our apprentices through everything they need to know to become a trainee estate agent and Andrews will sponsor and support them through their technical exams."

Andy Greetham, Managing Director of the Estate Agency business within Andrews added:

"We are not looking for someone who has necessarily worked in the property sector before. We want to find people with passion, who have the drive to succeed and work hard. Andrews is a trusted and established brand with over 60 years of experience in Estate Agency. We are committed to growing and nurturing raw talent and looking for our Estate Agency Branch Managers of tomorrow."

There are currently four branches of Andrews estate agents in the local area; Bexhill on Sea, Hastings, Silverhill and Eastbourne.

Manager of the Bexhill branch, Kieran James, believes the scheme will do much to benefit jobseekers and the south coast region during the current economic market.

Kieran, who has been with the company for fifteen years said: "Andrews are a very forward thinking company and are very much aware of the economic market, looking for new initiatives to bring people into jobs. This is a good career opportunity for young and old and I think it will really benefit the south coast.

He added "I am quite excited about the scheme."
