Almost £30 million has been spent on the new road, which is expected to save commuters up to an hour every day.
It was funded by Barratt Homes and built in partnership with West Sussex County Council.

Barratt Homes managing director Tim Hill said he was delighted to be celebrating the opening with so many people who have been involved in the construction process.
“This superb road is only part of our legacy for the area,” he told guests.
“Over and above our development, we provided the land for a local school, community facilities, sports pitches, upgrades to the A27 at Chichester and we were also responsible for connecting the drainage for the local Rolls-Royce Motor Company factory.”

West Sussex County Council’s Leader, Louise Goldsmith said: “I am so pleased to see the completion of this road and welcome the investment and commitment by Barratt Homes in making this happen.
“It will be a major improvement for the residents and businesses of Bognor Regis and beyond.
“This road will be a real boost to businesses by providing faster and more reliable journey times – giving them just what they have been asking for to help productivity.”
