Final flower show brings a successful year to a close

CROWHURST and District Horticultural Society held its final flower show of this year at Crowhurst Village Hall last Saturday.

Treasurer Alan Humphrey said: “The hall looked really beautiful with a mass of autumn colours and scents.

“The committee were delighted with the support they received from entrants and visitors alike.

“The society wish to thank everyone who entered or visited for their support.

“Below is a list of the trophy and certificate winners.

“Very well done to you all and thanks to all who entered and to those who visited the show and supported us, as we could not hold a show without you!”

The society’s next fundraising event is a jumble sale, to be held on October 18 at the village hall.

The group’s AGM will also take place in the hall on Friday October 3 from 7.30pm.

All are welcome to attend these events.
