Fire at Bognor factory
A small fire involving machinery on the shop floor at the rear of a Durban Road factory was put out by fire officers on Saturday evening.
Alerted to the incident by smoke coming from the rear of the single storey Sovereign Rotating Electronics premises, officers from Bognor, Chichester, Littlehampton, Haywards Heath and Shoreham attended.
Gas cylinders which were not involved in the fire were removed to the open air.
The incident is believed to be accidental.
