Fundraisers in the pink for cancer charity

We threw a charity event in aid of breast cancer awareness - we raised £400 due to the generosity of local businesses supplying prizes for our raffle.

Village Green, Henry Adams, Truffles Bakery, The Card Shop, The Old Forge Deli, Top Totty Clothing, MJ Suter Butchers, Parham House, Flower Wise and Vintage Rose, Eden Dog Groomers and Wood n Pots n Things and of course our loyal clients and the random people we pulled off the street - we could not have done this without you.

GHD kindly donated a pair of their latest hair straighteners as our star prize. Every pair that is sold they give £10 to Breast Cancer Now and have so raised £9,000.

I would like to thank all of the above as well as my amazing staff, Sophie Wright, Charlotte Bennett, Theresa Williamson, Anne Banner, you put your everything in pulling this together and not forgetting my supportive friends Beverley Schofield and Debbie Mansell, Breast Cancer is an awful disease and most people have come across, heard of or know someone who had been affected by it. Due to this fantastic charity and its many supporters they continue to fight it with great results. May we long continue to support Breast Cancer Now in their phenomenal work.
