Get fit by using outdoor gyms

Arun Wellbeing is organising several classes which encourage people to use outdoor gym equipment in parks

It will take place with instructors from Freedom Leisure, the district council’s leisure provider.

The Outdoor Gym Roadshow is coming to Angmering Park, Angmering, on August 1. The free session runs from 6pm until 7.15pm.

Please note: the previously advertised session in Rustington on August 2 has unfortunately been cancelled.

Councillor Paul Wotherspoon, Arun District Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “I would encourage as many people as possible to make the most of this fantastic outdoor gym equipment in our beautiful parks.

“I am confident that once people have attended an induction session they will be inspired to use it again and again.

“I would also urge people to use the other great indoor facilities in Arun provided by the council and run by Freedom Leisure as they offer a variety of ways to help people become healthier as well as using the outdoor gym equipment.”
