Getting back to church this Sunday

Every one of the diocese's 44 churches will be taking part in this year's Back to Church on Sunday (September 27), making it one of the largest evangelistic events across the country in recent history.

Every churchgoer is being encourage to invite someone they know to attend church with them on that day so they too can experience the benefits of belonging to a friendly Christian fellowship which feels called to serve the needs of its local community as an expression of God's love outside the walls of the church.

It is estimated that three million people would like to attend a church service, but are waiting for someone to invite them, so now's the opportunity for all followers of Christ to act as his witness and help others to come and know him as their saviour and friend.
