Great Dixter Christmas Fair

NORTHIAM’S Great Dixter holds its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 4pm.

The fair will take place in the Great Hall and Yeoman’s Hall, surrounding barns and outbuildings.

On sale will be jewellery, ceramics, metalwork, knitwear and artisan gifts and there will be food stands and stalls offering vintage tools and potted bulbs.

Perry Rodriguez, from Great Dixter, said: “The Fair has a fantastic atmosphere with a lot of local people attending. Our staff will all be working on a voluntary basis to help raise funds for the Trust.

“This year, six graduate designers from colleges such as Glasgow School of Art and Hereford School of Art have been chosen from the 2011 New Designers Show in Islington to show and sell their work alongside our regular local stallholders. Hot food and light refreshments will be available throughout the day.”

Admission is £5 with under 16’s free.
