Gymnasts donate to rescue boat

On Sunday the 1st March members of Acromax Gymnastics Club based at Helenswood School presented a cheque for £500 to Pett Level Rescue Boat.

Acromax had raised a total of £1000 at their 2014 annual show and they had decided to split the mony between the rescue boat and The Bluebell Ridge Cats Centre. The gym club had requested that the money be used to purchase a new Dry suit suitable for our younger trainess. It seems fitting that a club supporting and encouraging young people should do the same for us, we currently have quite a few youngster’s training at present and this will help in progressing their training.
