Harriet Harman meets young boxers
Labour’s infamous ‘Pink Bus’ rolled into Rye last Thursday when Labour Deputy Leader Harriet Harman celebrated ‘girl power’ by meeting young female boxers.
The bus visited Rye Boxing Club’s Rye Harbour Road base where boxers were joined by members of West Hill Boxing Club in Hastings.
Harriet Harman was joined by Rye and Hastings Labour prospective parliamentary candidate Sarah Owen and Rye councillor Sam Souster.
The bus has been touring around the country with the aim of connecting with female voters prioer to May’s general election.
