COFFEE MORNING: Saturday February 11 there is a fundraising event for the Children’s Society at 47 Hawks Road from 10am to noon. Have a good coffee and buy from the cake stall, bring-and-buy and others.

WEDDING FAIR: Blackstock Estate, Grove Hill from 10am to 3pm on Sunday. There will be suppliers, venue showcase, cars, cakes, photographers, stationery, decorators and much more. Free. No need to book.

BOWLS BINGO: Keep the date free and your dibbers at the ready for doors open 7pm and eyes down at 7.30pm on Monday February 13, in aid of Hellingly Bowls Club. Hellingly village hall, North Street (opposite Hellingly primary school). Free entry. Refreshments. All welcome. Enquiries 01435 812887.

VALENTINE QUIZ: A fun and popular evening is promised at Upper Dicker village hall on Saturday February 11 at 7pm for 7.30pm start. It is £7.50 per head and includes supper. Book on 01323 841541.

MICHELHAM PRIORY: Will reopen on Saturday February 11 for the season from 10am to 4pm initially.
