NORTHIAM based theatrical group Showtimers are on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join them for their next venture - a show based on Hit Stage Musicals .

Geoff Poyton said: “if you fancy being on stage- lots of singing and dancing this time, plus our usual brand of comedy, or working behind the scenes on scenery, costumes, front of house, lighting , sound etc then get in touch.

“Previous experience isn’t necessary , although always useful. We welcome anyone over 18. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate under 18s without their parents/guardians getting involved too.

“We are a small friendly band of villagers of all ages from teens to sixties, from the areas surrounding Northiam where we perform in the village hall and rehearse locally. We have been in existence since 1996.

“The next show which will be on Friday 30th May, Friday 6th June, and Saturday 7th June 2014 so anyone applying will need to be free on these dates. Auditions and rehearsals will start soon in the new year. If you fancy joining you will receive a warm welcome.”
