Horsham and Christ’s Hospital stations shortlisted for awards

Southern’s Stars and Tsars awards recognise the best in service quality for stations and depots.

Christ’s Hospital is one of three stations nominated in the Small/Medium Station category, along with Goring By Sea and Mitcham Eastfields.

Horsham and Eastbourne make up the shortlist in the Train Crew Depot category.

Southern’s Stakeholder Advisory Board helps sponsor the awards and the judging panel includes passengers, Southern managers and a winner from the previous year’s awards.

Emma Toms, head of customer experience, said “We have continued to see high standards of service quality across our stations and depots and are extremely pleased with the shortlist.

“We feel these stations and depots really do demonstrate the best of Southern and recognises the hard work and effort of our people.”

The winner of each category will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday August 19.
