Lady in red wins £500 at Fontwell

A BRIGHT red outfit won Georgina Crowhurst a £500 prize on Ladies Day at Fontwell Park.

Georgina, a keen horse rider from Buckinghamshire, was judged the best dressed lady on the day.

She said: “It was a such a fun day out. I was delighted to win the competition.”

Speaking on the day to Sally Pavey for the Social Diary in the Observer’s sister paper, the West Sussex Gazette, Georgina said: “I love Fontwell, it is such a good race track.

“I love racing, jumps and the flat. Everyone has made such an effort and looks lovely and beautiful today. The day has been a real credit to those at Fontwell, considering the weather this morning.”
