Remembrance marches are an integral part of honouring our fallen soldiers.

Every year upwards of 100 members of the Royal British Legion, veterans, Scouts and Guides, along with other organisations, turn out in the town to take part in this special day of events.

The band would be required to head the parade from the RBL premises in Meads Avenue, Little Common, marching along the Cooden Sea Road towards the A259 at the roundabout in the centre of the village, before marching to St Marks Church for a service of remembrance.

The parade then reforms before marching to the War Memorial on the roundabout for another short service of remembrance and the ceremonial laying of the wreaths.

Following this act of dedication , the parade will march back to the RBL premises in the Meads Avenue for some well-deserved refreshments and a buffet lunch.
