Man dies while out walking in woods off the B2110

A man has died while out walking in woods between Handcross and Turners Hill this afternoon.

A large police presence and ambulances were spotted at the scene off the B2110 road at around 3pm.

A police spokesman said: “A man out walking in the woods collapsed and sadly died this afternoon, Thursday 22 October.

“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
