Man in hospital following Hailsham incident

Emergency services were called to Ersham Road, Hailsham, at about 6pm last night.

Police said officers were responding to ‘a concern for a man’s welfare’.

Photos show police cars, ambulances and an air ambulance were all in attendance, while residents reported that the road was blocked off for some time.

A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he remains, police confirmed.
