M.E get-together
A cafe meeting is to be held for people suffering from M.E or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
The event will take place at Alfredo and Sue Silva’s cafe in Western Road from 10-11am on Thursday March 10.
Carole Coussens said: “M.E is a very isolating illness - just trying to hold a conversation can be very arduous because one of the symptoms is ‘brain fog’. It is very diffcult for people to understand. Talking to fellow sufferers can be reassuring as strange physical symptoms such as not being able to hold a pen or chop carrots, which you think are unique to you, are also shared by others.
