Missing Hazel found dead at Beachy Head

A woman's body was found on a ledge 60ft above the cannel at the foot of beachy head after the detective leading the hunt asked for the Sussex Police helicopter to make a beach search.

A dental examination last on Tuesday January 14 confirmed the body was that of Hazel Mepham.

Concern was growing for the 46 year-old who had not been seen since December 20.

A neighbour saw her at around 10am that day when she was said to have appeared 'upset.'

She worked for a local frim of solicitors.
