Network will help elderly in Bognor Regis

A network is being set up of groups which help older people around Bognor Regis.

The Arun Neighbourhood Network (ARN) is an initiative to help elderly residents stay healthy and independent.

By linking all the organisations, it is hoped they will be able to share information and work together.

The team behind the network will work with current groups and help them to develop to keep on providing their services and potentially reach more people.

The network is part of the partnerships for older people project of Age Concern, CVS-Arunwide, 4Sight and the Alzheimer's Society.

A CVS spokeswoman said: "The team want to encourage like-minded older people to come together to form more neighbourly communities, enabling them to use their considerable skills and experiences to support one another."

The ARN can be contacted 01903 719744.
