Newsmart comes to fire-victim Scout group's aid

QUICK response by Newsmart newsagents in Western Road enabled the community to show from the start is right behind 9th Bexhill Scout Group's wish to rebuild its headquarters.

Immediately after the April fire which saw the complete destruction of the Wainwright Road headquarters Newsmart accepted and placed on display a collecting tin for all their customers to donate money to the cause.

Since April this collection tin has been emptied four times. The total handed in now stands at well over 1,100.
