NINFIELD Horticultural Society stages the most ambitious event of its annual calendar, its Summer Show, on Saturday.August 20.

Show organiser says with visitors will be very welcome at the Memorial Hall from 2.30pm.

"This is our biggest show of the year and we usually expect a brilliant display of dahlias, chrysanths and other flowers, together with the best of the local vegetables and fruit. In addition to children's, photographic and floral art classes."

Rose is hoped that more entrants will be encouraged to compete in the domestic classes this year.

"This is the show where our cooks can display their skills in the domestic classes.

"I'm sure there are lots of sausage roll-makers and birthday cake decorators in the area whose produce we would love to see at Ninfield Show!"
