'˜No mean feat' for yacht club
A LARGE contingent from Sussex Yacht Club travelled to London on Saturday to hear the final result in the RYA Club Of The Year awards for 2014.
Shoreham Youth Team performed its world championship presentation on the Alexandra Palace stage before the winner was announced.
Dave Ramus, commodore at the club, in Brighton Road, Shoreham, was presented with a finalists shield.

Hide AdKarenza Morton, RYA regional communicator, said: “Unfortunately, they missed out on the top prize but to even be shortlisted as one of the country’s five best sailing clubs (there’s around 1,500 nationwide) is no mean feat.”
