Nominate a deserving pensioner says community association

The association is holding its customary lunch and entertainment at Sidley House on Sunday, December 9.

Readers are invited to nominate deserving local pensioners by contacting centre administration manager Glenda Humphreys at Sidley House on 01424 212789.

Priority will be given to those living on their own, who perhaps do not have family to support them at Christmas time.

Where required, door-to-door transport will be provided free of charge. Wheelchairs can be accommodated.

Invitations will be sent out towards the end of November. The association would welcome donations of suitable items for raffle prizes.
