Nutbourne man airlifted to hospital after crash

A NUTBOURNE driver suffered serious injuries after a crash near Westbourne yesterday (March 24).

Sussex Police said it was looking for witnesses to the crash in Common Road, Aldsworth.

“At 4.20pm on Tuesday an eastbound silver Peugeot 108 left the road in Common Road, Aldsworth, near Emsworth, and came to rest on its side in the adjacent field,” said a spokesman.

“The 32-year old Nutbourne man driving the car, who was the sole occupant, sustained internal injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital where his condition is currently described as serious but not life threatening.”
