How I agree with the Hollingsworths' picture and comments, re the Barratts building development in West End Lane, Henfield (County Times February 11).

A narrow enough dead-end lane with only one access to the village high street which is busy much of the day.

It is guaranteed to cause major traffic problems. Who, on earth, approved this build?

The Henfield Neighbourhood Plan has come up with a pretty good proposal which, for some curious and unexplained reason, is now ‘on hold’. While I agree building is needed it should surely be in the right place and not in a place guaranteed to ruin the landscape.
