Are coach drivers paying their dues?

WITH regards to the ongoing saga of parking costs in Battle car parks, I wonder if Rother District Council are also collecting payment from the local coach companies that park in the Market Square upper coach park all day?

There are regularly three or four coaches parked in the prime parking spots..

At times, this forces visiting coaches to drop and pick up their passengers in the lower part of the coach park amid the bottle bank and recycling bins.

Not a very nice welcome site to our beautiful town, surely our visitors deserve better than this.

So come on Rother, are these folk paying their dues or are you going to enforce the standard charge as you do on cars for non-payment?

If they are here to stay could then at least please park in the lower coach park.
